HMCThis year marks the 60th Anniversary of the first pre-production Land Rover and the Heritage Motor Centre is celebrating this special anniversary at the annual Heritage Land Rover Weekend taking place on the 3 & 4 May 2008

The two day show will be opened by Phil Popham (M.D. of Land Rover) on Saturday at 10.00am followed by the new Heritage 60th Anniversary Special Vehicles Run. BBC Radio 2 presenter Lynne Bowles will be providing commentary throughout the show.

Sunday morning starts with the famous Heritage 60th Anniversary Classic Run - a cavalcade with over a hundred special classic Land Rovers from the Association of Land Rover Clubs, taking part in the annual Run from Land Rover in Solihull to the Centre at Gaydon.  The Cavalcade will be led by the Heritage Motor Centre's oldest production Land Rover "Hue."

From the M40 north or south, leave the motorway at Junction 12, sign posted Gaydon and the Heritage Motor Centre.

Drive up the slip road until you come to a T-junction.

Turn left on to the B4451 towards Gaydon.

You will come to a roundabout. Turn right on to the B4100 sign posted for the Heritage Motor Centre
